Baritone Blowers' Concert

Artistic Director Makoto Hondo, together with pianist Hanping Tsai, will weave together a concert full of the charms of the baritone saxophone. In the first part, a duo of baritone and piano will introduce the world of different works, and in the second part, a chamber music-like ensemble of players from Tohoku will perform. In the third part, up to 30 baritone saxophones, including those from the general public, will sound in unison to dynamically express famous pieces that everyone knows, such as Moon River and The Nutcracker.
