The two musicians, who were classmates at Tokyo National University of Fine Arts and Music, reunited for the first time in 20 years. The oboe and bandoneon are a curious combination, but the sound is produced by the same "double reed. Their combined resonance produces a unique sound. Over the past three years, this project has been well received, with 80 performances from Hokkaido to Okinawa and overseas.
