Guitar instrumental trio Wheels Live!

The first band in the series! We are pleased to welcome the members of the guitar instrumental trio Wheels for a live performance. Come and immerse yourself in the musical world of the members, each of whom has a wealth of experience in their respective fields.

Wheels: A guitar instrumental trio consisting of Daisuke Sakakibara, Masayuki Ishii, and Kazuhiro Nakazawa. At first listen, words such as guitar pop, ambient, shoegaze, and dream pop come to mind, but their meticulous chord progressions and quietly grooving sound give the impression of rhythmic film music floating underwater. They are currently preparing their first release.

Performer Profile

Daisuke Sakakibara (drums) studied drums in L.A. and returned to Japan in 2004 after performing in London. He has participated in live support and recording for many artists, both major and indie, as a drummer. He has also released works with his own unit "Men Spyder".

Masayuki Ishii (g) participates in live performances and recordings of various artists as a guitarist and producer. He has recently worked with Hanaregumi, Kaname Kawabata, Kaori Mochida, and others. He has released many albums with "The Chang," "TICA," and "gabby&lopez.

Kazuhiro Nakazawa (b) has released two albums as the bassist of "The Chang". He is currently active as a remixer and music video writer.
