Yuki Miyata Harp Concert

Profile

After graduating from the Tokyo National University of Fine Arts and Music, she entered the harp department of the Conservatoire National Supérieur de Musique de Lyon at the top of her class, and graduated with a French national music diploma. She had the opportunity to study under Xavier de Mestre, former principal harpist of the Vienna Philharmonic Orchestra and one of the world's leading harp concertists. He has performed with orchestras such as Orchestre National de Lyon, and is currently working as a concert harpist. He was the first Japanese harpist to win the highest prize at the 27th World Music Competition in the professional category (Spain). She has won prizes in 10 international competitions in 8 countries, including the Japan International Harp Competition.
She has been invited to perform concertos at the Tokyo Metropolitan Art Space, Bozar Hall in Belgium, Mozarthaus in Vienna, and other prestigious halls around the world, and has received invitations from the Doitsu Foundation, the largest foundation in Turkey and Japan, and a grant from the International Foundation for the Promotion of Music and the Arts in 2022, as well as a grant from the former Japanese Ambassador to Turkey. In 2022, they will perform in the Blue Room of the Turkish Presidential Hall in the presence of H.E. Mr. Kazuhiro Suzuki, former Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Japan to the Republic of Turkey, and in other performances organized by the Doitsu Foundation, Consulate General of Japan in Istanbul, and Kadiköy Municipality. In 2023, with the cooperation of the Embassy of the Republic of Turkey in Japan, the Doitsu Foundation and her corporation will co-sponsor a charity concert tour in Tokyo, Yokohama, and Osaka in support of the Southeast Turkey Earthquake and Tsunami Relief Concerts. The concert will be held in Tokyo, Yokohama, and Osaka. He has appeared on Turkey's largest media outlet, Anadolu Agency, national radio, ANDANTE, Yomiuri Shimbun, Google America, and many other media outlets. He has received premiere requests and compositions from prominent composers in India, France, Italy, Turkey, and other countries.
He has also been invited to perform at many ceremonies, including a solo harp concert at the opening ceremony for the 40th anniversary of the Tokyo Metropolitan Teien Art Museum. He has performed at the opening ceremony of the 46th Iku Matsuri, an imperial event, and at related ceremonies in several cities throughout the year, including this one in the presence of His Imperial Highness Prince Akishino. She also appeared as a solo harpist at the commemorative concert of the same ceremony held by Tsukuba City.
