Shinshiro Music Festival" to add color to autumn in Shinshiro City, Aichi Prefecture
In 2025, the festival will be held for the 50th time. This year's concert was planned as a commemorative event.
Two foreign musicians with connections to Shinshiro City will perform at this year's festival.
One is Markus Haninger, who will be visiting Japan from Neuburg, Germany. He came to Japan at the New Castle Alliance Conference in 2018, and we have since developed a friendship with him.
We asked him to perform as this will be his third visit to Japan. He will be interacting with local bands and students.
The other performer, Mao Hui, is a baritone singer from China.
He graduated from the vocal department of Tianjin Music Academy in China and received his master's degree from Tokyo National University of Fine Arts and Music. Since then, he has served as a university professor and research section chief.
He currently resides in Xincheng City, where he runs a coffee shop Dolce, as well as voice training and Chinese language classes.
This concert will be held with the "2025 Cultural Activity Grant" from the Jinno Education Foundation.
