Opening Ceremony! Japan Music Competition Highlights Unofficial

NHK Classic Fes.2025 @ SHIBUYA TSUTAYA will hold a talk show among its extensive program, "Opening! Highlights of the Japan Music Competition" will be held free of charge on October 21 at 3:30 p.m. on the 1st floor of SHIBUYA TSUTAYA. Tokihiko Umezu, Mainichi Newspaper special editor and music critic, will explain the history and appeal of the Japan Music Competition, and soprano Maion Takeda, first prize winner in the Voice Division of the 93rd Competition, will talk about the behind-the-scenes performance and points of interest, while sharing her own award-winning experience.
