Rika Sawai (violin)
After graduating from Toho Girls' High School of Music, Sawai graduated from the Vienna State University of Music with a master's degree in violin with the highest honors. She won the 3rd prize in the string section of the 3rd Sogaku Competition, the 1st prize in the 7th Onkyo Music Contest, the Jury Prize in the 2nd All Japan Junior Classical Music Competition, and many other awards in international competitions. As a scholarship student, he performed at the opening concert of the Wiener MusikSeminar, and as a member of the Webern Symphonie Orchester, he performed at the Golden Hall of the Vienna Alumni Association.
