Buxtehude and Bach

Japan Holiness Church Tokyo Chuo ChurchTokyo

Studio corda presents the fifth performance of the "Iki" series of ancient music series, featuring the gem sonatas of Buxtehude and J.S. Bach, both 17th century German masters, with period instrumentation.
We are pleased to be able to present the fifth performance of the "Iki" series after a two-year absence, as Nao Takahashi, who has been active in Europe, especially in the Netherlands, temporarily returns to Japan. We hope you will experience a moment in which the violin, viola da gamba, and harpsichord come together to convey the full beauty and emotion of baroque music in the richly resonant chapel of Tokyo Chuo Church.
