The second installment of the "Japanese Music: A Journey Through Time and Space" series presented by the Journal of Traditional Japanese Music will explore how anger has been expressed in Noh and Gidayu-bushi with the theme of "anger.
The Noh plays "Dojoji" and "Kurotsuka" will be performed by Noboru Sano, Yuji Morisawa on kotsuzumi and Yukihiro Isso on flute, while the Gidayu-bushi will spin "Amagasaki no dan" from the picture book Taikoji by Koshitaka Takemoto on joruri and Misuzu Tsuruzawa on shamisen.
