2025/11/23(su.) 14:00 Starting
Mishima Civic Cultural Hall, Yuyu Hall, Small Hall (Shizuoka)
Special stage presented by Kaoru Mori with more than 1,000 stages in Japan and abroad, where anyone can enjoy both operas and musicals with subtitles and acting.
Kaoru Mori, a soprano singer who has lived in eastern Shizuoka for 20 years and has been active in Japan and overseas for 30 years, will give her first solo recital in Shizuoka, presenting famous scenes from operas with subtitles and acting, using her expressive and reliable voice cultivated through her experience of 1,000 stages. In the latter half of the concert, Japanese songs and musicals will be introduced, and at the end, the audience will sing along with the singers in a participatory concert. Supported by Shizuoka Shimbun, Shizuoka Broadcasting System, Mishima City, and Mishima City Board of Education.
The first half of the concert will feature a variety of gorgeous and dramatic operatic arias. The audience will feel as if they were in the story, and even those new to classical music will be able to enjoy the performance in an easy-to-understand manner.
The second half will feature familiar Japanese songs and well-known musical numbers in a relaxed atmosphere. She will share episodes related to the songs and behind-the-scenes stories leading up to the concert, using her "speaking ability" cultivated not only as a soprano singer but also through YouTube programs and other media.
