A one-night-only musical prayer feast of traditional Shingon shomyo, graceful countertenors, and delicate harp will be held at the Miyazaki Prefectural Arts Center Medikit Performing Arts Center Theater Hall. In the first part, a solemn shomyo by the Kyushu Shingon Teachers' Union Hoshinkai will be joined by Teisan, Sanka, and Shomyorei, inviting the audience into a world of prayer. In the second part, Daichi Fujiki's clear countertenor and Reine Takano's harp sing Bach-Gounod, Schubert, and Mascagni's Ave Maria in a compassionate tone. In the final collaborative stage, both will fuse their voices and melodies in an exquisite joint performance of Roshu chanters, Rishu sutra zenya score, and Shibuya Keiichiro's new work 《BLUE》.
