How shall we play chamber music using the Fazioli piano (Fazioli Fullcon F278) in the Musashino Swing Hall with 181 audience seats? 3 pieces will be thoroughly examined! (1) Public lesson by pianist Ms. Misato Yokoyama to receive instruction on pieces with piano (trio, quartet, and quintet). 2) Compare chamber music pieces with piano (Tufanel, Dvorak, Debussy, Fauré, Mendelssohn, Schubert). (3) Play-in free of charge, where participants who drop by on the spur of the moment can freely perform chamber music pieces with piano on stage. Free to attend just to listen! Everyone is welcome!
Program
Part 1: Open Lesson (13:05-15:10) - Open Lesson led by pianist Ms. Misato Yokoyama
1) Piano Trio: Schubert Piano Trio No.2 in E-flat major, Op.100 (3 movements) -Pf Mitsuko Matsumoto et al.
2) Piano Quartet: Brahms Piano Quartet No.1 in G minor, Op.25 (3 movements) -Pf.
3) Piano Quintet: Dvorak Piano Quintet No.2 in A major, Op.81 (1 movement)-Pf.
40 minutes per group, 2 minutes for replacement, with critique *Mr. Yokoyama himself will play the piano for the third piece.
