Keiichiro Shibuya ANDROID OPERA MIRROR

The android opera "MIRROR," composed and produced by Keiichiro Shibuya, is an innovative opera work that combines an AI-powered android singing, a 60-member orchestra, piano, electronic sounds, video, and a Buddhist musical statement with a 1200-year history. The work has been performed at the Dubai World Expo and the Chatelet Theatre in Paris, and last year's Tokyo performance sold out immediately, attracting attention in Japan and abroad. This is a performing arts work in which human beings and technology, East and West, tradition and innovation, life and death - all boundaries are blended together to present a new model of harmony. The performance, titled "Deconstruction and Rebirth," will include new works, as well as deconstructions and reconfigurations of previous works and a reexamination of the boundaries between life and death itself, in an attempt to explore new hopes and possibilities between deconstruction and rebirth, and between humans and androids.
