We are pleased to present a concert by Tanase Keita, a young hope who has been excelling at Tsugaru shamisen competitions nationwide, and the Kanagawa branch of Ryukyukoku Matsuri Daiko, an eisa group active in Kanagawa Prefecture.
Tanase Keita, born in 2002 in Tochigi Prefecture, is a young performer who began learning the Tsugaru shamisen at the age of 8 and has excelled in numerous competitions. Guest performer will be Masato Nakahara.
Ryukyukoku Matsuri Daiko Kanagawa Branch is a creative eisa group that performs a unique choreography based on eisa, a traditional Okinawan performing art, incorporating karate kata and Ryukyuan dance movements.
This concert is suitable for those who have little exposure to traditional Japanese music and for families with preschool children.
