Celebrating the 105th anniversary of the seventeen-stringed koto, this performance will feature a new combination of the seventeen-stringed koto, cello, and dance. The ensemble will be led by cellist Kouya Suzuki and Nobutaka Yoshizawa on the 17-string koto, and will be joined by dancers Keiko Kobayashi, Yurisa Nakazawa, and Miki Iwata. The program includes the world premiere of Juha T. Koskinen's new work "Fiery Gold Dust," a solo cello version of "Thin Ice," and "Luminous Flux" by Harumi Tomiki.
