Woodwind Quintet Stella 11th Concert

We, the woodwind quintet Stella, are a woodwind quintet group of amateur musicians who perform mainly at our annual concert.
We were formed by alumni and former members of the Okayama City Junior Orchestra. Although we have different places of residence and occupations, we continue our activities through a process of trial and error.

Since 2022, the group has been performing a hybrid concert format of audience participation and online streaming (live and archived streaming). Initially, we see this not only as part of our efforts to prevent infectious diseases, but also as a way for guests who have difficulty coming on the day of the concert or who live far away to feel a sense of presence and participate without hesitation from the comfort of their own homes.

Our concerts are mainly classical music concerts, and our concept is that everyone, from beginners to lovers of classical music, regardless of age, can enjoy our concerts.

The theme of this year's concert is "Northern Europe. Many people think of Germany, Austria, France, etc. when they think of classical music, but there are also wonderful composers from England and Northern Europe. We will introduce some composers from Northern Europe and their works related to the region.

We are looking forward to seeing you at the concert hall or listening to the music at home.
