The journey to unexplored music begins now.

Essential Brass" is IBE's concert series that approaches the essence of the British brass band. The band will perform famous and difficult pieces with the same passion and intensity as in the real world.

This year's concert will feature the Japan premieres of "Explorers on the Moon" (Paul Raphael), commissioned by the 2019 World No. 1 ranked The Cory Band, and "A Road Less Travelled By" (Philip Sparke), composed as a piece for the 2020 European Championships. (Philip Sparke), composed for the 2020 European Championships, will be performed for the first time in Japan.

The program will also include solo duets by the orchestra's renowned virtuosos and "Canterbury Chorale" (Jan Van der Roost), which is also popular in brass band music.

This will be the first solo performance after the 2024 New Zealand tour. We hope you will enjoy the enthusiastic performance of IBE, which has grown even more after participating in the contest.
