This is the sixth installment of the popular recital series by Japanese guitar virtuoso Kiyoshi Shomura at the Hamarikyu Asahi Hall. The first half of the concert features a solo guitar performance of the Ode to the Virgin Mary by King Alfonso X and masterpieces of ancient music by Milan, Sans, and Mudarra, while the second half features the famous guitar quintet of Boccherini and the Beatles' "Beatleriana" arranged by Browell with a string quartet of master musicians.
