In commemoration of the 150th anniversary of Ravel's birth and the 100th anniversary of Satie's death, Yuji Takahashi aka Izumi Aoyagi will give a lecture concert narrated by Bechstein. Using Ravel's 1911 Satie program organized by the Society for Independent Music, the concert will feature Ravel's "Pavane for a Dead Princess" and "Ma mer Roi", Satie's "Gymnopédie No. 3" and "Sarabande No. 2" as well as Debussy's "From a Sketchbook" and other works, carefully explaining the works and historical background.
