Highlights
The Tokyo Philharmonic Orchestra presents a special concert 2025 featuring Katsuhiro Ida, conductor, and Bunkichi Arakawa, principal oboe of the Tokyo Philharmonic Orchestra, who will play the oboe concerto by R. Strauss, masterpieces by John Williams, excerpts from the first and second suites from "The Triangular Hats" by Falla, and the Japan premiere of "The Roses". The program will also include excerpts from the first and second suites from Falla's ballet "The Triangular Hat," and the Japan premiere of the "Knight of Roses" suite (arranged by Gerard Schwarz), providing a familiar and colorful concert.

◆About "Orchestra Wah-kyo":
　The name "Wah-kyo" is intended to mean "the sound of harmony between people". Orchestra Wahkyo is composed of individual members who share this philosophy, without any specific organization as a parent organization. The name "Wa-Kyo" expresses our wish to weave a musical circle with the sound and resonance of harmony, which is born out of gratitude for the relationships between people and out of respect for each other.
　The concept of our group is "cross-genre". We are sincerely committed to any genre of music, including classical, drama, and game music, and hope to deliver the appeal of each type of music with high quality performances.
In 2025, the group will perform in "La Folle Journée TOKYO 2025 Kiosk Stage".
