Osaka Heinrich Schütz Chamber Choir Kobe Vol. 6
50th Anniversary of Osaka Collegium Musicum
2025/09/14(su.) 15:00 Starting
Kenji sings about the death of a loved one and the way forward for those left behind.
The poems "The Morning of the Last Succession," "The Needle in the Pine Tree," and "Silent Lamentation," are a series of poems that express his grief over his sister Toshi. Eiki Chihara, who has been musicalizing Kenji's words in a variety of ways, has completed the work as a trilogy of a cappella mixed chorus pieces.
Together with Rikuya Terashima's works, which are based on Kenji's love of nature and the people of his hometown Hanamaki, we will approach Kenji's true voice.
