Open Master Class by Alexander Kobrin, piano Unofficial

A public master class by Mr. Alexander Kobrin will be held on December 19, 2025 at the Biwako Hall Small Hall of the Shiga Performing Arts Center. Mr. Kobrin, who teaches at the Eastman School of Music and has served as a jury for the Van Cliburn International Piano Competition, Busoni and Hamamatsu International Piano Competitions, will directly instruct Kaoru Amano and Yukako Tamura, the winners of the 1st Biwako Hall Piano Competition. English-Japanese interpretation will be provided by Ms. Chika Tsunoda. This is a rare opportunity to experience the depth of international performance perspectives and techniques through the interaction between the students' performances and instruction. The program will be announced at a later date.
