Nakano Citizens' Symphony Orchestra The 79th Regular Concert

The first concert after returning to "Nakano ZERO," which has undergone renovation, will be Brahms' "First Symphony" and "Last Symphony.
Brahms composed only four symphonies, but his First Symphony, which was the result of much deliberation and refinement, shows his strong admiration for Beethoven and his will to create a symphony of the royal road. On the other hand, Symphony No. 4, a masterpiece that combines the classical aesthetics he pursued throughout his life and the deep spirituality characteristic of his later years, is a rare symphony that begins and ends in a minor key, and seems to express Brahms's unique outlook on life.
Both symphonies are well-known masterpieces, and this program will allow the audience to enjoy the changes in the way Brahms dealt with his symphonies over the course of his life.
