This performance is the first in a series of fortepiano recitals by Shigehiko Kawaguchi, focusing on works written by composers in their teens. The works of Mozart, Rachmaninoff, Bach, Beethoven, and other young composers will be contrasted and spun on two instruments, the performer's own Walter and the hall's own Fazioli. This performance delicately depicts a rich story of youthful passion and sorrow through the tones and expressions of various eras.
