BENYAMIN NUSS
Benjamin Nuss, born in 1989 in Gladbach, Bergisch, Germany, is a versatile pianist and musician active in the fields of classical, jazz, and game music. Having shown musical talent at a young age and studied at prestigious institutions, he gained international attention with his 2010 album "Benyamin Nuss Plays Uematsu" and toured Europe, Asia, and North America.
He is active not only as a soloist, but also in chamber music and orchestral collaborations, performing in a variety of highly acclaimed forms, including a trio with his father Ludwig Nuss and John Goolsby, and a duo with marimba player Fumito Nunoya and harmonica player Constantin Reinfeldt. His collaboration with Reinfeldt is particularly noteworthy, and he is scheduled to perform at the Osaka Expo in 2025.
The orchestra is also distinguished by its long-standing collaboration with game music masters such as Nobuo Uematsu of "Final Fantasy," Masashi Hamauzu, and Yoko Shimomura, performing their music on stages around the world and conveying its appeal with rich expressive power.
The orchestra has appeared at prominent festivals such as Leverkusen Jazz Days and Gamescom, and continues to attract a wide range of audiences with its diverse repertoire and deep musical insight, which encompasses everything from Haydn to contemporary music.
