Living National Treasure Nomura Mineyama - The Heart of Bamboo Connected by Shakuhachi Unofficial

Shakuhachi player Mineyama Nomura, a holder of the Important Intangible Cultural Property (Living National Treasure), will appear at the Tenku Hall of the Hamamatsu Museum of Musical Instruments. With Bizan Tomotsune as his assistant, Nomura will convey the deep resonance of bamboo and sound through solos and duets that interweave the traditional techniques of the shakuhachi with modern expressions.
