The 2nd #Makabe's Ambition Composition Contest is an open competition to judge new works submitted by the public for euphoniums in German-speaking countries. There will be a duet division for a euphonium duo and a trio division for one trumpet and two euphoniums.
The judges are euphonium player Yoh Imamura and saxophonist, composer, arranger, and orchestrator Masaya Watanabe (see profile here. )
Admission is 1,000 yen. Due to the screening process, pre-school children will not be admitted.
We are also accepting submissions until 11/16 23:59. There are no qualifications for participation, so we are looking forward to receiving submissions from anyone. (Click here for the application guidelines. )
