The Siena Wind Orchestra, a world-class brass band visiting Japan under the baton of Yutaka Sado, will appear in Ashikaga. The program will consist mainly of Alfred Reed's dramatic "Othello" and Johan de Mey's magnificent "Lord of the Rings" symphony, and will also include a talk by Sado himself, "Music Toy Box," to entertain the audience from many angles. There will also be an invitation program for families, promoting admission for elementary school students to 18 years old and younger, so that all generations can experience the charm of brass band music.
