Orchestra Will The 16th Subscription Concert

Snow falling quietly in the deep forests of Finland in Northern Europe.
The majestic flow of the Rhine River in Germany, which has been flowing for an eternity.
All of these are the home of music, nurtured by rich nature and history.

This concert will feature Sibelius' "Symphony No. 1" and Schumann's "Symphony No. 3 'Rhine'", masterpieces from these two lands.

Sibelius's Symphony No. 1 is a music of tranquility and passion, reminiscent of the harsh and beautiful winter landscape of Finland. The young Sibelius's deep respect and love for the nature and traditions of his homeland are portrayed in the magnificent orchestration.

Schumann's "Rhine," on the other hand, is a work full of inspiration from the composer's travels along the Rhine River. Powerful as a mighty river and at times pastoral in its flow, it reflects German culture and history in its music.

If you listen carefully, you may hear the creaking of trees in a distant Scandinavian forest or a hint of wind on the banks of a river where an ancient castle stands.
It is as if the music takes you on a journey that transcends time and space.
