Lifelong Learning Course "Recorder and Music History - Weaving a Story as a Party" Unofficial

In the third session of the Lifelong Learning Course "Recorder and Music History: Weaving Stories as a Party", recorder player and authority on musicology, Kiichi Suganuma, will focus on Dutch songs of the Edo period. He will perform a variation on a Dutch song (edited by Suganuma) from the "Worankan Shuukau Uta" (translated into Japanese by Aoki Kunyo), and systematically explain the expansion of Western music and the process of de-Westernization. This lecture-style concert combines instrumental performance and historical commentary to bring music history closer to the audience.
