For the 50th Anniversary Regular Concert, we will welcome as our guest conductor Dr. Sayaka Kaneno, who has been teaching the ensemble for many years, and will perform the world premiere of the flute concerto "Emperor Angelfish".
We will also welcome former regular conductor Mitsuru Itoi, who will join us for a performance of a memorable piece requested by the members from among the pieces performed during his tenure.

In the first part, we will present a diverse program ranging from Masao Yabe's lighthearted "Dolphin in the Sky" to Yasuhide Ito's symphonic poem "Gururiyoza".
In the second part, under the direction of permanent conductor Kazushige Uchiyama, the world premiere of "Emperor Angelfish," a flute concerto, will be performed by Ms. Sayaka Kinno in a brilliant solo, and will conclude with an excerpt from Shostakovich's Jazz Suite No. 2. Please enjoy the sound of the Edogawa Ward Cultural Center's Main Hall.
