A large percussion ensemble consisting of percussion faculty and students of Showa University of Music will reconstruct famous orchestral pieces using only percussion instruments. Conducted and arranged by guest professor Jun Sugawara, the ensemble will perform Gershwin's "An American in Paris," highlights from Bizet's "Carmen," and Ravel's "Bolero.
