Ensemble Platform is a contemporary music chamber ensemble group started last year that brings together top orchestral players, freelance musicians, composers, and conductors of the same generation from the Tokyo metropolitan area. This year, in addition to the premieres of new works by the three composers, the ensemble will perform G. Ligeti's masterpiece "Piano Concerto" with Shoichiro Tanaka on piano, and a piece by Bastian David, winner of this year's Siemens Music Award for Young Artists.
