Fukuoka Oratorio Academy 2025 Handel "Messiah" excerpts

The "Fukuoka Oratorio Academy," the predecessor of the "Seinan Oratorio Academy," which was sadly disbanded when its conductor left for Germany, will perform Handel's "Messiah" in the second year of its re-launch.
Before the performance, conductor Michiya Azumi will give a detailed explanation of the interpretation of the text and what to listen to. The Oratorio Academy Ensemble Fukuoka, consisting of skilled chorus members from all over Japan and professional instrumentalists well versed in historical performance techniques, will express the deep religious background of the work with exquisite precision in its sound.
