Celebrating the 150th anniversary of Ravel's birth, up-and-coming pianist Takaya Sano will weave through Ravel's luminous and colorful works, including Sonatine in F-sharp minor, Water Play, and Pavane for a Late Princess. In the second half, the orchestra will perform Mussorgsky's great work "Pictures at an Exhibition" in its entirety, inviting the audience to a variety of sonic landscapes.
