Mountain Composer, Kohei Kondo Kondoh Kanketsu Memorial Concert

Concert to commemorate the anniversary of "mountain composer" Kohei Kondo, known for his left-handed piano music performed by Takeo Tomouchi, Izumi Tateno, Kotaro Fukuma, and many others, and for his numerous works including guitar concertos, piano concertos, marimba concertos, and vibraphone concertos.

Kohei Kondo (1965-)
Contemporary composer born in Takarazuka City, Hyogo Prefecture. Known for his unique style based on the theme of nature, his "Prayer by the Sea" Op.121 for left-handed piano is a representative work that has been performed internationally. He also provided music for the film "Nishikita Chopin. Provided the theme music for the 69th Tokyo International Guitar Competition 2026. Second Prize in the Composition Competition sponsored by the Deutsche Oper Berlin. His works, including concertos, chamber music, and songs, are widely performed in Japan and abroad.
