Yuya Nishimoto All-Chopin Recital

Yuya Nishimoto is a remarkable pianist who has been selected to participate in the 19th International Chopin Piano Competition in the fall of 2025. In this recital, she will play the famous Italian instrument Fazioli and convey the passionate and delicate charm of Chopin's works with her outstanding technique and deep expressive power. Profile of Yuya Nishimoto
In 2025, Nishimoto became the first Japanese in 26 years to win the first prize at the unanimous decision of the Epinal International Piano Competition (the first Japanese male winner) and was awarded the Contemporary Music Prize. He is a world-renowned Japanese pianist with a wide repertoire.
He was selected to participate in the 19th International Chopin Piano Competition in Warsaw, Poland.

First prize winner of the Chopin Piano Competition in the U.S.A. and the Shimanowski Best Performance Award. Awarded Special Mention in the Chopin International Piano Competition in ASIA. Awarded the 4th prize at the Takamatsu International Piano Competition. Received the Kagawa Prefecture Newcomer's Award for Culture and Arts. Participated in the 2nd Chopin International Period Instrument Competition in Warsaw, Poland. He won the first prize at the Salzburg Mozart International Competition in Tokyo, as well as many other national and international prizes. He has performed in Poland, the U.S., and other countries, and has collaborated with orchestras in Japan and abroad, including the U.S. National Philharmonic Orchestra and the Orchestre National de l'Orchestre de la Mesglande Est.
She has performed at the UNESCO Congress in Paris and at the Peace Concert at Kioi Hall in Tokyo. She has given Fazioli recital performances in Hokkaido and elsewhere. He has appeared on the radio and writes for Chopin Monthly.
She has received the Ariadne Musica Prize of the Tokyo University of the Arts, the Clavier Prize of the University of the Arts, the Emerald Prize for Music of the University of the Arts, the Acanthus Music Prize, and the Doseikai Prize.
Currently enrolled in the master's course at Tokyo University of the Arts.
