Orchestra più Folle 1st Special Concert

Orchestra più Folle (F orchestra) was formed in 2025 by members and alumni of the University of Tokyo's Music Department Orchestra (Todai orchestra). The name "più Folle" means "more enthusiastic" in Italian. The name implies that each member, with his or her own individuality, faces the music and spins the sound enthusiastically. With our young and passionate performance, we will bring you the fascination of classical music in one step.
The logo mark is based on a lively musical note motif. The flowing lines placed in the center express the harmony of the music we play and the freedom of ideas contained within it, while the dark colors and bright green represent the variety of expressions that music has to offer. The dark color and bright green represent the variety of musical expression. The fusion of these elements represents our desire to create a rich world of music, sometimes passionate, sometimes delicate, that resonates in the heart of the listener.
With this logo, the group is committed to working together with you to create a whirlwind of enthusiasm and passion for music.
The first special concert will be conducted by Mr. Hiroyuki Mito with the theme of "creating a whirlpool of enthusiasm with masterpieces by famous composers. The concert will begin with Beethoven's "King Stefan" Overture, which has been performed relatively infrequently but is both majestic and tense, followed by two of Mendelssohn's famous symphonies, each with its own drama. This is a concert in which the performers will bring their individual personalities and passions to bear, and perform music that has been thought through and enjoyed by the audience.
