We are pleased to present the magnificent music of Wagner and Mahler with Prof. Shinya Ozaki, who is the Permanent Conductor of the National Orchestra of Romania.
Tristan und Isolde" is a musical drama composed by Wagner based on a Celtic tale told by poets.
It depicts the ultimate love between Tristan and Isolde, who are strongly attracted to each other but can only be fulfilled through death.
Mahler's Fifth Symphony was composed during the most fulfilling period of his personal life, when he met and married Alma.
The beautiful and passionate four-movement "Adagietto" is said to be a love song for Alma.
