The World of Russian Music with Cello and Piano - 50th Anniversary of Shostakovich's Death

This year we will hold another concert with Yuichi Otani, who is not only the principal cellist of the Osaka Symphony Orchestra but also active in numerous chamber music performances, and Moe Adachi, who is active as a soloist and with the orchestra!
The year before last, we focused on Brahms, and last year we focused on composers from the Americas. This year, in commemoration of the 50th anniversary of Shostakovich's death, we will focus on Russian music.
We will perform Shostakovich's cello sonata as our main work, along with Stravinsky's Italian Suite and works by Kapustin, Prokofiev, and others. There will also be beautiful pieces by unknown composers.
