The 75th Kayabuki Club Matsuda Gen Guitar Recital

This program will allow you to fully appreciate the character of the classical guitar and the personality of Matsuda Gen, who is highly acclaimed for his delicate and beautiful sound. Original compositions by Talega, a great Spanish classical guitarist. Works by the same leading Spanish composers, Falla and Albeniz, originally composed for other instruments, but now performed all over the world as part of the classical guitar repertoire. This popular piece by Piazzolla has breathed new life into the Argentine tango and developed it into contemporary music. And a nostalgic Japanese piece that has been brilliantly transformed into a classical guitar piece through a wonderful arrangement. This concert will be enjoyable for both those who are new to classical guitar and those who have already been exposed to many performances and have become guitar fans.
