Divertire Chamber Orchestra 26th Concert
Enjoy the string quintet of Brahms and Mozart!
2025/08/17(su.) 14:30 Starting
The string ensemble Divertire Chamber Orchestra, with professional violinist Shiro Nishida as its musical director, aims to perform with a high degree of perfection even with a small group. The Divertire Chamber Orchestra is eager to perform string quartets and small pieces that are rarely performed by amateurs in string ensemble versions.
This time we will perform a string quintet for the first time for us.
A string quintet is chamber music consisting of two violins, two violas, and a cello (contrabass), and is originally performed by five players, but we will present a string ensemble version with about 30 members.
The two viola parts and the inner voices give the music a richness that makes it hard to believe that it is a string ensemble. Please enjoy the symphonic Brahms and the beautiful Mozart, especially in the slow movements (2 and 3).
