Yamanashi Symphony Orchestra The 51st Regular Concert (The 1926th Toyota Community Concert )

The concert will be conducted by Shinji Moriguchi, Professor of Oita Junior College of Arts and Culture, with guest concertmaster Takashi Nagamine, specially-appointed professor at Kunitachi College of Music and former principal of the NHK Symphony Orchestra, and violin soloist Marina Wako, a third-year high school student and winner of the Grand Prix at the 20th International Music Competition in Romania, among others. The violin soloists are Brahms' Symphony No. 2, Mendelssohn's Violin Concerto, and Brahms' Overture to a University Celebration.
In addition, as an SDG initiative, there will be an exhibition on the use of hydrogen energy in connection with Hamburg and Yamanashi, the birthplace of Brahms and Mendelssohn, who will be featured in this year's program.

A pre-concert talk by conductor Shinji Moriguchi will be held from 1:20 p.m.
Wine and juice tasting by local breweries will be available in the foyer.
