Musica VITS Summer Concert 2025, "Sounds Overlap, Sounds Melt Together" is a full program of chamber music featuring a diverse array of violins, violas, cellos, contrabasses, clarinets, fagots, horns, and pianos. From the beautiful sounds of the contrabass and viola in Dittersdorff's Sinfonia Concertante, to Paganini's duet and Schumann's Romance Lyric, to the gorgeous ensemble of Dohnányi's Sextet, the program will present a number of masterpieces filled with deep emotion and dynamism. The addition of Koji Yamabe's "CYANGRAY," the first performance of a commissioned work, will make this an evening in which the audience can enjoy the harmony of individuality and tradition in contemporary works.
