Tokyo University of Science Orchestra 100th Anniversary Concert Unofficial

The commemorative concert celebrating the 100th anniversary of the Tokyo University of Science Orchestra will be held at the Great Hall of Yokohama Minato Mirai Hall with a splendid program of R. Strauss' symphonic poem "Don Juan" and Rachmaninoff's Symphony No. 2 under the direction of Ryuichi Suenaga. This one-night-only performance of a dialogue of intergenerational resonances and brilliant orchestral sounds will be a major milestone in the long history of the orchestra as it moves forward into a new era. Students and younger are admitted free of charge, so we hope many people will attend this much-anticipated performance.
