As part of the "300 Years of Choral Cantatas Project VII" proposed by the Bach Collegium Japan, the Church Cantata Series vol. 91 will be held at the Kobe Shoin Women's Gakuin University Chapel. Under the direction of Meister Masaaki Suzuki and featuring soloists Reinan Fujii, Youya Aoki, Ryo Sakurada, and Toru Kalei, the chorus and orchestra with historical instruments will vividly depict J.S. Bach's cantatas Nos. 5, 8, 91, and 130. The austere sounds of the chapel bring out the spirituality of the works deeply, and the ritualistic beauty of the changing seasons is haunting.
