La Traviata Message from Violetta Unofficial

This performance is a revised version of the opera "La Traviata Message from Violetta" starring, written and directed by soprano Tomoko Shibata. Set in New York, Violetta's message of love is reexamined in the present day and portrayed from a new perspective with a splendid cast including Kyosuke Kanayama, Tomoji Takada, Yuhki Shimoji, and Reisho Oikawa. The production, under the direction of Naya Miura and score editing by Akiko Kubo, respects the beautiful melody of the original work while inviting the audience to the heart of the story with its speedy development. The refined stage direction utilizing the space of the Civic Center Hall at the Toyosu Cultural Center will highlight the echoes of love that Violetta has spun for 300 years.
