Butoriko Takagi Charity Concert

JHP and School Building Society Charity Event

2025/07/26(sa.) 13:30 Starting

Hamarikyu Asahi Hall Music HallTokyo

Official https://www.jhp.or.jp/2025/04/charityconcert_2025/

This charity concert started with the idea of "conveying the joy of music to children in Cambodia, where music education in schools is lacking," and this year marks the 20th anniversary of the event.

The total amount of money raised so far through this concert for the Cambodian music education support activities amounts to approximately 24.5 million yen. We would like to express our sincere gratitude to all of you for your support.
Proceeds from the concert have been used for a wide range of purposes, including music teacher training, music events, and the donation of more than 4,600 used keyboard harmonicas for use in children's music classes in Cambodia, where music education is lagging behind.

This year, we are pleased to welcome Ms. Buteiko Takagi, one of the hottest young violinists in the world today, who has won prizes at numerous national and international competitions. With her exceptional technique and rich expressive power, you can look forward to a sensitive and passionate performance that will captivate the hearts of all who hear it.
We look forward to seeing you all there.
