The 12th Hamamatsu International Piano Competition Winners' Showcase Concert in Tokyo

The Hamamatsu International Piano Competition, Asia's leading international piano competition, is held every three years at Act City Hamamatsu in Hamamatsu City (Shizuoka Prefecture), a city of musical instruments and music.
The purpose of the Hamamatsu International Piano Competition is to provide a venue for young pianists who aspire to become world-class pianists to showcase the results of their daily studies, to foster their development, and to promote the world's musical culture and international exchange. More than 30 years have already passed since the first competition was held in 1991 to commemorate the 80th anniversary of Hamamatsu City, and it has established a reputation as an extremely high-level piano competition that requires a high level of competence, and is now one of the major piano competitions in the world.
