First Japanese winner of the Moscow International Kabalevsky Music Competition. She has received numerous awards, including the Kabalevsky Prize and the Grand Prix Triple Crown. In addition to her activities as a promising young pianist, she also writes and arranges music, gives music lectures, and performs a wide range of other activities. Graduated from Tokyo National University of Fine Arts and Music, Department of Instrumental Music, majoring in piano.
